<\/p>\n

DigiCentre offers versatile and customizable facilities and modern tools with support services in the immediate vicinity of the premises.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It is possible to produce high-quality digital learning material at the DigiCentre, including video recordings and interactive streaming broadcasts for both personal and product images. Teachers can practice, independently, or in a small group scriptwriting, filming, and editing. Jamk Staff can use the facilities and support services is free of charge. You can also work in the evenings and weekends in the rooms reserved through Outlook. It is also possible to utilize studio facilities with working-life partners.<\/p>\n

The DigiCentre is built around the following rooms:<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Studio (Green Room)<\/strong> The studio is used for professional video production. Its spacious and adaptable layout allows for multi-camera setups and the filming of multiple subjects. The studio features excellent acoustics, high-quality and adjustable lighting, and top-tier video equipment. Background cloths in various colors\u2014including black, white, green, and a JAMK-branded lilac\/red gradient\u2014are available for different purposes. A control room at the rear of the space manages recording and studio operations; it also provides storage for equipment. While the center\u2019s own staff primarily use the facility, others may use it with staff support and in accordance with booking policies.<\/p>\n

2) \u00a0 \u00a0 In Tuberoom 1 (Black Room)<\/strong> , teachers independently produce high-quality videos. The room features a black interior and is equipped for recording podcasts and voiceovers. The equipment includes a camera with a rotating head, podcast and video mixers, and four dynamic microphones.<\/p>\n

3) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In Tuberoom 2 (White Room)<\/strong>\u00a0 The room features a white interior. It is a space designed for group filming, equipped for interviews, group presentations, and webinars. The equipment includes a video production switcher, two wireless microphones, and a camera with a motorized pan-tilt head.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In both Tuberooms it is possible to live streaming or make webcasts.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

4) Webinar 1 & 2<\/strong>: Two webinar rooms where teachers can independently host webinars and create recordings, such as screen captures or even video blogs. The space accommodates 1\u20132 people at a time. The room is equipped with a computer, speakers, a microphone, a webcam, video lights, two monitors, and a green or blue backdrop.<\/p>\n

5) Pop-up PhotoStops<\/strong> are places in DigiCentre’s rear floor, where users can take portraits and photograph objects. Bring your own camera with you. Jamk staff can also book time for their official staff’ portraits (from Mari’s outlook calendar).<\/p>\n

6) The\u00a0Editing room<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workstations equipped with high-performance computers and professional-grade software allow teachers to edit videos independently. The space also includes equipment for digitizing photographs.<\/p>\n

Self-service facilities (webinar rooms, YouTube studios) can be booked via the Outlook calendar. Initially, users can access the pop-up studios and the editing room at their own convenience; a booking calendar will be introduced for these areas as well, should the need arise. The ”Green Room” (studio) is a service facility where both the space and staff assistance are booked simultaneously. Studio time can be reserved directly through the Digital Center staff.<\/p>\n

7) Mobile podcast desk<\/strong><\/p>\n

The desk is located in the editing room and can be moved to different locations within the Digital Center as needed. The setup includes a podcast recording mixer and four microphones with headphones.<\/p>\n
