{"id":612,"date":"2020-03-09T10:42:18","date_gmt":"2020-03-09T08:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/exam\/for-the-student\/for-jamk-student-exam-visit\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T09:58:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T07:58:01","slug":"for-jamk-student-exam-visit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/exam\/en\/for-the-student\/for-jamk-student-exam-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"EXAM visit in another university"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions for Jamk&#8217;s student<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Exam visit means that you take Jamk&#8217;s exam in another university&#8217;s EXAM room.&nbsp;Exam visit is reserved through <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.jamk.fi\">Jamk&#8217;s EXAM<\/a>, using your Jamk credentials.&nbsp;You can find the participating universities in EXAM when reserving an exam time.&nbsp;A <a href=\"https:\/\/e-exam.fi\/in-english\/\">location-based list of exam visit universities<\/a> can be found on the EXAM consortium website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exam room has recording <strong>video surveillance<\/strong>.&nbsp;When you book an exam time in another university&#8217;s EXAM room,&nbsp;you accept the rules of usage and surveillance practices of that university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making a reservation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please read the instructions below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/e-exam.fi\/in-english\/\">rules of the visiting university<\/a><\/strong> from the EXAM consortium website, such as what you are allowed to bring into the room and where to leave your personal belongings during the exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Find out the location and opening hours<\/strong> of the EXAM exam visitation rooms, as well as access rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Find out the available software and other resources<\/strong>. Especially if your exam requires other software or resources in addition to the EXAM system.
