These accounts are intended for visitors who do not already have Eduroam credentials from their own organization. With a guest account, visitors can connect to the wireless Eduroam network and access the internet on campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All staff members can create Eduroam guest accounts for visitors. Each staff member can have a maximum of five active guest accounts at the same time, and the maximum validity period for an account is seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a Guest Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest Eduroam accounts can be created at <a href=\"https:\/\/guest.eduroam.fi\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/guest.eduroam.fi\">guest.eduroam.fi<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <em>Sign In<\/em> to start using the service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your institution from the list (Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n Ammattikorkeakoulu) and sign in using your JAMK credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"617\" height=\"524\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/ohjelmistotjalaitteet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/139\/2026\/08\/image.png\" alt=\"Eduroam visitor account management page showing options to view existing visitors and create a new visitor account. Make sure the email address or phone number is entered correctly. If desired, you can also receive the login information yourself by selecting <em>Send me a confirmation by email.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the validity period for the account (maximum 7 days)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optionally add additional information in the comments field, such as the name of an event or lecture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modifying Guest Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the <em>My Visitors <\/em>section, you can edit user information, such as extending or changing the account validity period<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connecting to the Eduroam Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mobile Devices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Identity:<\/strong> Eduroam account email address (for example, kze@guest.eduroam.fi)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Password:<\/strong> Eduroam password<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CA Certificate: <\/strong>Don&#8217;t Validate (You may receive a separate prompt to accept a certificate when connecting to the network.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"473\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/ohjelmistotjalaitteet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/139\/2026\/08\/connect_eduroam-473x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Android phone screen displaying the Eduroam network sign-in view.
