Sign it once your thesis is completely finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The declaration is on a separate page in the 2026 Thesis Template. It is located between the description page and the table of contents.<br>If you began your thesis before August 1, 2026, this page is not included in the template, but your thesis supervisor may ask you to add it separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Text typed in Word is not acceptable as a signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signature does not need to be an electronic signature created with Jamk Sign.<br>For security reasons, a handwritten signature scanned from paper is also not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The easiest way: Adobe Acrobat\u2019s E-Sign feature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once your thesis is complete, save it as a PDF file (without a signature).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. You can also use the online version (https:\/\/acrobat.adobe.com\/ and log in with your Jamk email address).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(In the online version, select the \u201cFill &amp; Sign\u201d icon.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your thesis file (choose it from the menu or drag and drop it). The file will open in a window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to the declaration page. It is located after the description pages and before the table of contents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u201cE-sign\u201d at the top. A sidebar with E-sign functions will open on the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u201cFill in Form Fields \/ Add Signature\u201d from the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your name and click \u201cSave.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your name will appear on the page.
