You can search the calendars of several rooms, persons or pieces of equipment at the same time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Units equipment and cars are searched from <em>Rooms<\/em> field. In the beginning of name is unit\u00b4s name. Don\u00b4t use Equipment and vehicles function from magnifying glass.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search free room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the <em>Search rooms<\/em> button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the <em>Free \/ busy search<\/em> feature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the browse feature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the <em>Resources quick search<\/em> feature<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note that the teacher\u2019s or the group\u2019s calendar will not return any results if no reservations have been made for them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any rooms, equipment and persons you searched for previously will remain in your own calendar and in the cache memory of the <em>Make other reservations<\/em> feature, so be sure to clear your selections before you run a new search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"searchfree\">2 Search free room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you already know the desired date and time and only want to find a suitable room for the purpose, do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <em>Open my own calendar<\/em> or <em>Make other reservations<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highlight the desired date\/time from the calendar, e.g. 20 November at 10\u201312 (do not select a room yet, but do select yourself as a participant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the reservation form that appears, click <em>Search rooms<\/em> under the magnifying glass icon next to the <em>Resources<\/em> field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"234\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Search-rooms.jpg\" alt=\"Search rooms\" class=\"wp-image-1299\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you usually book rooms from certain campus you can choose as a default campus. Write campus you want to Office box and tick S<em>ave offices as default<\/em>, then click <em>Search<\/em>. After this every time you open <em>Search room<\/em> office field is filled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can change the campus if you need to. If you don\u00b4t want to change the default settings don\u00b4t tick<em> Save offices as default<\/em> when you search different campus. Just add information you need and click <em>Search<\/em>.<br>If you don\u00b4t want any campus to be as a default and you want every time choose the campus by yourself leave Office box empty and tick <em>Save offices as default<\/em> and click<em> Search<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can change the campus if you need to. Just add information you need and click <em>Search<\/em>.<br>If you don\u00b4t want any campus to be as a default and you want every time choose the campus by yourself leave Office box empty and tick <em>Save offices as default<\/em> and click <em>Search<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the <em>Room is available on selected time<\/em> option selected and click the<em> Search<\/em> button to run the search.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By default,<em> I have reservation permission for the room<\/em> is selected. In this case, the system excludes from the search results rooms to which the person making the reservation does not have rights or for which the limitations of the room prevent reservation for the time selected with the role of the reservationer. If you leave the box unchecked, the search results will also show the room for which you do not have reservation rights, and they will show the lock image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"411\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Tilaon-vapaapainike.jpg\" alt=\"Room is free button\" class=\"wp-image-1300\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select a free room from the list by clicking the + button at the end of the row concerned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue filling out the reservation form in the usual manner, and click <em>Save<\/em> when you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"searchrooms\">3 Search rooms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With this feature, you can search for rooms or the unit\u2019s equipment using a variety of criteria or browse the rooms based on office by clicking <em>Open my own calendar<\/em> or <em>Make other reservations<\/em>. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the <em>Rooms<\/em> column and select <em>Search rooms<\/em>. If you already highlighted a specific period in the calendar and switched to this window via the reservation form, you will also have the <em>Room is available on selected time<\/em> option available to only search for rooms that are available during the period you selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the search criteria (typically room type and office)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <em>Search.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click the + button to select the desired room.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"free\">4 Free \/ busy search<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can search by office, name, room type, unit\u2019s borrowable equipment, person or accessory bundle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With this feature, <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/resource-planning-and-reservations\/making-a-reservation\/\">you can reserve several rooms at the same time if they are available at the desired tim<\/a>e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lock icon indicates whether you have the right to reserve the room concerned. Hover the mouse over the name to view the details and picture of the room concerned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to see weekends or change the timerange click <em>Actions <\/em>button (or wheel picture)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can create saved searches and use them to search for rooms, equipment and persons. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/resource-planning-and-reservations\/set-resource-groups-and-favourites\/\">For further instructions on how to use the search features, click here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"543\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Vapaan-ajan-haku.jpg\" alt=\"Free \/ busy search\" class=\"wp-image-1302\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"browse\">5 Browse rooms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <em>Open my own calendar<\/em> or <em>Make other reservations<\/em>. The <em>Browse rooms<\/em> tab allows you to browse for the rooms by office. Click the magnifying glass icon next to the <em>Rooms<\/em> column and select <em>Search rooms<\/em>. In the window that appears, click the <em>Browse<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the office whose rooms you want to browse. Click the arrow at the beginning of the row to make your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the desired room by clicking on the arrow button at the beginning of the row. If there is a lock icon in front of the room name, you are not authorised to reserve the room concerned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the info button to view a picture of the room, among other things.
