Go to <em>Resource planning and reservations<\/em> section and choose <em>Reservation listing and mass management.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most typical example is to publish reservations en masse, following which the reservations will also be displayed to the students (publishing of course timetables).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"201\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Massmanagement.jpg\" alt=\"Mass management search\" class=\"wp-image-1316\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note! Some of the buttons in the picture are only displayed to users with the planner role and to administrators!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To search for reservations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specify the search criteria as desired, and then click the green<em> Search<\/em> button to start the search. You can choose which columns are shown in the results when you click <em>Columns<\/em> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To search for reservations, do one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Use the quick search features on the left-hand side (<em>Own reservation<\/em>s or <em>Saved search<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b. Choose the search criteria from the right-hand side menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set time range to search reservations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can limit results and choose reserver, room, group, building, implementation or topic. You can add multiple values to fields but only one reserver.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"carry\">1 Carrying out and saving mass edits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the front page view, define the search criteria and search for the reservations. You can choose which columns are shown in the results when you click <em>Columns<\/em> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.1 Saving mass searches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you have made search, click <em>Save search <\/em>button. Write the name of search in the opening window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to regroup searches create group this way: Write first the group name add \/ sign and then write the name of the search. For example Events of fall 2020 \/ AOKK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"308\" height=\"229\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/05\/Savenewsearch.jpg\" alt=\"Save search and add group\" class=\"wp-image-1780\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now group Events of fall 2020 is created and in that group is search called AOKK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"224\" height=\"101\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/05\/Grouplist.jpg\" alt=\"Group list\" class=\"wp-image-1781\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to add new search to the group just put the name of the group first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.2 Carrying out mass edits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the checkmark in front of the row to select the instances you want to change, or click the checkmark in front of the word<em> Weekday<\/em> to select all.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check how many results the search gives and how many rows is seen in the page. Results might be divided to multiple pages. You can choose how many rows you can see in the page so you can then choose all the reservations for mass editing at once.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then select whether you want to change the status of the reservations or edit them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"256\" height=\"182\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Massavalinta.jpg\" alt=\"Choose what to do with cohsen reservations\" class=\"wp-image-1318\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you select \u2018Add to edit list\u2019, a blue bar appears above. Click the \u2018Do bulk edit\u2019 button displayed in the bar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"74\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Bulkedit.jpg\" alt=\"Blue bulk edit bar\" class=\"wp-image-1319\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The selected\/recurring instances are listed at the top of the page, and new information can be specified at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"262\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/04\/Massamuokkaus.jpg\" alt=\"Reservation mass editing\" class=\"wp-image-1312\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add a checkmark to an <em>Actio<\/em>n column to edit the information concerned. Change the data as applicable.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Status<\/em> \u2013 are the reservations in the suggestion, draft or published status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Realization<\/em> \u2013 you can define the implementation the reservations are made for. The \u2018Realization\u2019 feature is not used for event reservations.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Append<\/em> menu \u2013 you can add another implementation for the reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Replace<\/em> menu \u2013 in the reservations you selected, you can replace an implementation with another implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Clear<\/em> menu \u2013 you can delete an implementation from the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Group<\/em> \u2013 you can define the groups the reservations are made for. Groups are not used in event reservations.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Add<\/em> menu \u2013 you can add groups to the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Replace<\/em> menu \u2013 in the reservations you selected, you can replace group(s) with other group(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Clear<\/em> menu \u2013 you can delete a group from the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Persons<\/em> \u2013 you can define the persons the reservations are made for. In teaching reservations, select the teacher of the implementation concerned. In other reservations, select the person in charge of the reservation.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Add<\/em> menu \u2013 you can add persons to the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replace menu \u2013 in the reservations you selected, you can replace person(s) with other person(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Clear<\/em> menu \u2013 you can delete a person from the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Room<\/em> \u2013 you can determine rooms for the selected reservations.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Add<\/em> menu \u2013 you can add room(s) to the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Replace<\/em> menu \u2013 in the reservations you selected, you can replace room(s) with other rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Clear<\/em> menu \u2013 you can delete room(s) from the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E<em>xternal room<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Set<\/em> menu \u2013 you can set an external room for the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Clear<\/em> menu \u2013 you can delete an external room from the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Subject<\/em> \u2013 you can set a subject for the reservations you chose. Subject means the name of the reservation. This is used in reservations other than teaching reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Extra info<\/em> \u2013 you can add additional information to the reservations you selected or clear the information you have already added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Time<\/em> \u2013 you can edit the time of the reservations you chose. The date cannot be edited here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Cost center<\/em> \u2013 you can edit the cost centre of the reservations you chose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <em>Submit changes<\/em> button to accept and save the changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The top part of the page displays confirmation for the saving of new information, and the changed information is displayed in the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"example\">2 Examples of using mass edit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.1 Case: Changing the status of multiple reservations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search for the reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the reservations you want.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <em>Do to selected<\/em> button, select the status you want.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To make changes in the table view:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search for the reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the reservations you want.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the blue bar, click the <em>Edit in table view<\/em> button. The table view opens in a new browser window.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Make the desired changes to the table cells. The data will be saved automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the + sign to add rooms, implementations, persons or groups. The search box activates in the top left section of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To delete the selected resources, tick the checkbox in front of each resource. The system asks you to confirm the deletion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.2 Case: Predefined list of own unpublished reservations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With this example, you can make a predefined list of the unpublished reservations you have saved in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Peppi, click <em>Resource planning and reservation<\/em>\u2019 then choose <em>Reservation listing and mass managemen<\/em>t.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the search criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncheck <em>Status<\/em> -> <em>Published<\/em> (because you only want to search for unpublished reservations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the end date far in the future, e.g. 1 January 2029.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the start date blank so that the saved search will always retrieve the current date in the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <em>Reserver<\/em> field, retrieve your own name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <em>Search<\/em> to get the results that meet the search criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <em>Save search<\/em> and enter e.g. \u2018My unpublished reservations\u2019 as the name of the search, and then click OK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The saved search will now always be displayed on the left-hand side of the <em>Reservation listing and mass managemen<\/em>t menu, from which you can activate the search with a single click.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this view, you can retrieve reservations to the list with different search criteria and edit multiple reservations at the same time.
