The \u2018PLP guidance\u2019 feature can be used for viewing and editing the students\u2019 individual study plans. Communications related to PLP guidance can be carried out using this feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The user will see the groups to which they have been assigned as a tutor. They can also create and manage their own groups. The group feature of PLP guidance allows you to assign tasks to the whole group, view the progress of the studies of the whole group, set up or prepare the group\u2019s PLPs, and communicate with the students in the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students tutored by the user are displayed on the <strong>Summary page<\/strong> of PLP guidance. If the user has been assigned as a tutor for the group, the tutored students and groups are displayed under <strong>My<\/strong> <strong>PLP group<\/strong>. The user can also create own PLP groups under \u2018<strong>My PLP group<\/strong>\u2019 by selecting add own group. The own groups created by the user are displayed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"203\" height=\"399\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/05\/PLP_guidance.png\" alt=\"Picture of PLP groups\" class=\"wp-image-1563\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can select whether to only show display active students <strong>Show active<\/strong> or all students. The <strong>All<\/strong> option will also display graduated and dropped out students. The option can be found from the right-hand side of the screen. Use the <strong>Columns<\/strong> drop-down menu to manage the columns displayed on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"260\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2020\/05\/PLP_guidance_columns.png\" alt=\"Picture of PLP guidance columns\" class=\"wp-image-1564\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding an own group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To add an own group, select Add own group from the left-hand side navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Add own group<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Name<\/strong> field, enter a name for the group.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The name will be displayed as a heading of the group\u2019s page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Code<\/strong> field, enter a code for the group.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The code will be displayed in the left-hand side navigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Description<\/strong> field, enter a description for the group if applicable.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The description will be shown on the group description tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The group\u2019s code will be displayed on the left-hand side navigation. Click the code to enter the group\u2019s page. The <strong>Summary page<\/strong> only displays the <strong>Students<\/strong> and <strong>Events tabs<\/strong>.
