New RPL applications addressed to you will automatically cause an email to be sent to you by the system.<\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"info-lift-block_ebe5e8b286128e2ad4583eec1f900a97\" class=\"block-info-lift block-info-lift\">\n  <div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"col-12\">\n              <div class=\"block-info-lift__content\">\n          <div class=\"block-info-lift__content__icon\">\n            <span>!<\/span>\n          <\/div>\n          <p class=\"block-info-lift__content__text\">If you receive email notifications about applications that you believe have already been processed, please check that the application status is &quot;archived&quot; (figure 1). If the status is not &quot;archived&quot;, complete the processing of the application by either performing credit transfer or marking the application as handled. The status of the application<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Email messages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is a list of email messages that the system sends to the student and the handler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Messages sent to the handler<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A student submits an application for processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A handler takes over part of the application for processing. The previous handler receives a notification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first handler of the application forwards the application for decision-making and\/or saving to the next handler, or the handler of the application is completely changed to a new handler. The next handler receives a notification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student returns a part of the application back for processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student cancels their application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The handler rejects the student\u2019s accreditation application. The handlers responsible for the parts of the application receive a notification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A reminder message about applications that are still being processed is sent to handlers (so-called summary message).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Messages sent to the student<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When the student submits an application for processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the status of the application changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When a part of the application is returned to the student for completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When a decision is made on the studies\/competence included in the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the handler rejects the student\u2019s accreditation application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The application window<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first tab, you find the applications for which you must carry out accreditation processing. The processed applications are transferred to the next tab. There are separate tabs for pre-accreditation applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The status of an eRPL application sent to you by a student may be one of the following: new application, currently processed or already processed. The status of RPL applications<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The parts of the application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the application from the \u2018Actions\u2019 drop-down menu on the right side of the application line. Select \u2018<strong>Process<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application is divided into three parts. Top of the application<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studies and decisions section<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importing study information via the Emrex service<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The student should primarily use the Emrex service to import information about previously completed higher education studies into the application. Emrex retrieves the study information from the national data repository. In this case, the student does not need to enter details about the institution where the studies were completed or attach a transcript of records to the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the Emrex service, the following information is imported for the previously completed study: course name, credits, language of instruction, place of performance, assessment date, and original grade. Studies and decisions of the application<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If another person has transferred or returned the application to you for processing, the messages others have written on the application are displayed above the accreditation tools. These messages are also sent to your email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the bottom of the main window, you can find the change history of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Returning or transferring the application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If it seems that the student should still complete or correct their application, send it back from the \u2018<strong>Return<\/strong>\u2019 tab (figure 6). Select \u2018Student for editing\u2019 and enter what you expect the student to do with the application in the Message field. Do this from the <strong>Workflow\/transfer to<\/strong> -tab (figure 7). In the \u2018Select new handler\u2019 drop-down menu, type the person to whom you want to transfer the application and write a message to them.
