The application is processed by the person in charge for the course.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n<div id=\"info-lift-block_7ff03c87bd173f6f890ab70723c06af9\" class=\"block-info-lift block-info-lift\">\n  <div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"col-12\">\n              <div class=\"block-info-lift__content\">\n          <div class=\"block-info-lift__content__icon\">\n            <span>!<\/span>\n          <\/div>\n          <p class=\"block-info-lift__content__text\">The instructions for partial accreditation can be found at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Before processing the application, read the instructions on the previous pages of this guide: <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/\">eRPL \u2013 Accreditation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/erpl-application-in-peppi\/\">eRPL application in Peppi<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the application from the \u2018Actions\u2019 drop-down menu on the right side of the application line. Select \u2018<strong>Process<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making a decision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If all the applications are in order, click \u2018<strong>Go Directly to Decision-Making<\/strong>\u2019 on the \u2018<strong>Process<\/strong>\u2019 tab. Select a decision from the drop-down menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Approve completely<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partially approved (see instructions at the bottom of this page)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approved, but competence must be demonstrated (Used only for Prior acquired other competence. See separate instructions on <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/prior-acquired-other-competence-replacement\/\">the Prior acquired other competence page<\/a>.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reject (see instructions at the bottom of this page)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decision: Approve completely<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your decision is \u2018approve completely\u2019, enter the information below on the Process tab (figure 1):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>message for student (reason your decision)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the number of credits approved (see the instruction below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>grade (the grade of replacement course)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>registrar (choose yourself here)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you can choose to make notes that are only visible to you in the \u2018Message to registrar\u2019 field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2023\/04\/Korvaaminen-paatos1.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 1. Information of the decision<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions for marking credits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In the \u2018Approved\u2019 field, you can enter any scope, even less than what the course to be replaced amounts to. If the decision is \u2018Approve completely\u2019, Peppi will not complain even if the scope is different than what the student entered for the course. For instructions on partial replacement, please refer to the partial accreditation of the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credits are recorded with an accuracy of 0.5 credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the student has more skills and the credits of the course he\/she completed previously is greater than what is required in the Jamk course, the credits are added to the student according to the credits of Jamk course. The student can, if he\/she wishes, apply for accreditation with the final part, e.g. for elective studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions for marking the grade<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Grade field, enter the grade (1-5) that the student has received for the course for which he\/she is applying for accreditation. If the evaluation is \u201cpassed\u201d, enter H (passed) in the field. If there are several courses (\u2018many-to-one\u2019 or \u2018many-to-many\u2019), calculate their average. Increase half marks upwards after counting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Studies completed abroad are marked with a grade on a scale of 1\u20135 if the grading scale was the same. If the scale was not to the same, the letter H is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is a case of the competence replacement, select H (passed) as the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, click &#8217;<strong>Save<\/strong>&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decision: Reject<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your decision is &#8221;Reject&#8221;, please do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the decision is &#8217;Reject&#8217;, an agreement must be created. To draw up an agreement, go to the <strong>Agreements<\/strong> tab. In the <strong>Description of the New Agreement <\/strong>field, write a justification explaining why the application was rejected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u2018<strong>Add new agreement<\/strong>\u2019. Check the information on the agreement. In this section, you can, for example, share the information on the agreement with another teacher by adding them in the \u2018Other Teachers\u2019 field. Click \u2018<strong>Save<\/strong>\u2019 to approve the agreement. Rejecting the application<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing the application keywords<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the &#8217;<strong>Hakemuksen asiasanat<\/strong>&#8217; window, select the keywords that best describe the competence in the application (Figure 3). Note: The window is only in Finnish. You can select more than one keyword. You can also filter the keyword list by first typing your field of study in the \u2018Ohjauksen ala\u2019 field to see only the keywords related to your field. Note: In this case, you cannot find so-called general keywords. Keywords gather applications in an accreditation bank, where you can search for accreditations already made using keywords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2023\/04\/AHOT-sisallyttaminen-5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 3. Now you only have to record the accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--2\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/recording-replacement-in-the-transcript-of-records\/\">Go to the instruction on Recording replacement in the transcript of records<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partial accreditation of the application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Partial accreditation requires an agreement to be drawn up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create the agreement on the <strong>Agreements<\/strong> tab of the processing of the application before the decision is made. Enter what the student must do to have the entire course approved in the \u2018Description of new agreement\u2019 field (Figure 4).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u2018<strong>Add new agreement<\/strong>\u2019. Check the information on the agreement. Preparation of the agreement<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u2018<strong>Go Directly to Decision-Making<\/strong>\u2019 on the \u2018<strong>Process<\/strong>\u2019 tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select \u2018Decision\u2019 for the application &#8221;Partially approved&#8221;, write a message to the student, mark the accepted credits and the assessment of a previous course, select the registrar (yourself), and click \u2018<strong>Save<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, you have to add \u2018Hakemuksen asiasanat\u2019 (instruction earlier on this page).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have selected \u2018Partially approved\u2019, you cannot make the actual accreditation decision, but simply mark the accreditation as processed by clicking \u2018<strong>Mark as handled<\/strong>\u2019 (figure 5). After this, the studies have been archived in Peppi. The student\u2019s personal learning plan shows partial accreditation and agreement information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, record the credits and the assessment received in the accreditation for the student through some implementation of the course. In this way, the student&#8217;s credit balance shows the actual number, and he does not have to wait for the missing credits until the final study attainment is recorded. If the implementation does not have implementation parts, create a part for the student and record the assessment in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student must complete the assignments required by the teacher, after which the teacher enters final credits and assessment for the student.
