You never mark the accreditation as handled, because the student will then not receive a study attainment of accreditation for his\/her PLP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accreditation recording<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First, check that the student has filled in the information of his own study correctly, because they also affect the recording study attainment on the transcript of records and PLP. E.g. The credits and name fields must be filled in correctly. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/checklist-for-teachers\/\">Read more in the checklist for teachers<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check and add the following information (figure 1):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Credits (which will be accepted)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Municipality (the municipality where accreditation takes place, almost always Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date of study attainment (the day when the credit is recorded)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment (see instructions below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessed by (your own information)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type of study unit (see instructions below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discipline (the student\u2019s field of study)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please never select Removed from Reporting!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"838\" height=\"704\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2023\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5716\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 1. Please do not write anything in the Extra note for the transcript of records field, as the text will appear on the student&#8217;s transcript of records.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marking the assessment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Grade field, enter the grade (1-5) that the student has received for the course for which he\/she is applying for accreditation. If the evaluation is \u201cpassed\u201d, select H (passed) in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Studies completed abroad are marked with a grade on a scale of 1\u20135 if the grading scale was the same. Otherwise, the grade is \u201cpassed\u201d H.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is a case of the competence inclusion, enter H (passed) as the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Type of study unit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a rule, the type of study unit is the type selected in the curriculum in the \u2018Type of Studies\u2019 classifications of the studies in question. Please note that practical training has been separated to Practical Training in Finland and Practical Training Abroad. In addition, studies of Swedish as a second or a foreign language and Finnish as a second or a foreign language represent their own type. Only the following types are used for a Master\u2019s Degree: professional studies, thesis, or elective studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then click \u2018<strong>Save<\/strong>\u2019. The accreditation is transferred to the student\u2019s transcript of records and the studies are archived in Peppi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competence recording<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If it is a matter of competence accreditation<\/strong>, you must also filled-in the information on <strong>previously acquired competence<\/strong> &#8211; that is, the details filled in by the student, which are shown on the left side of the window in the image below. You can fill-in the information for both by clicking the <strong>pencil icon<\/strong> in the upper right corner (figure 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2023\/05\/Sisallyttaminen-osaamisen-tietojen-taydentaminen-hakemukselle.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 2.
