{"id":7099,"date":"2024-09-30T13:42:06","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T10:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/?page_id=7099"},"modified":"2024-09-30T13:42:07","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T10:42:07","slug":"inheritance-of-cross-institutional-study-networks","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/cross-institutional-studies\/cross-institutional-studies-planners-instructions\/inheritance-of-cross-institutional-study-networks\/","title":{"rendered":"Inheritance of cross-institutional study networks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Only valid networks are fetched for the separate study module, study module, course and implementation data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cross-institutional study networks are inherited between study elements as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information is inherited from the study module into the courses and study modules connected to the study module in question<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the study module is structural, the elements it contains inherit the information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A student can only pick the highest level into their Personal Learning Plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The courses included in the study module can also be added separately to the network offering, in which case the student can select them separately into their Personal Learning Plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Network information is inherited from the course for an implementation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>In order for the implementation to be transferred to the national service, more study places must be added to it for cross-institutional study network students<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the quota group for cross-institutional studies is removed from the implementation and the implementation is thus removed from the service, its removal does not affect the course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Inheritance of network data from a study module to separate study modules under it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By default, network information is not inherited from separate study modules, but users are notified if, for example, the user adds a network to the upper level and there are separate study modules under the level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Fetching a study module from another curriculum<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the fetched elements have network information for cross-institutional studies, the user is asked whether the network information is also imported<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Network information <strong>is not inherited<\/strong> from groupings because grouping is not a study module or a course.
