If the student has submitted an exemption application for other studies, they have selected the wrong type of application. In that case, return the application to the student for correction \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/erpl-application-in-peppi\/\">see instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This instruction concerns exemption of the maturity test.<\/strong> The student <strong>must attach<\/strong> the certificates equivalent to comprehensive school or upper secondary school to the application. <strong>No exemption is granted<\/strong> on the basis of citizenship or mother tongue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jamkstudent.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Kieli-ja-viestintaopinnot-Elmo\/SitePages\/en\/Recognition-of-prior-learning-and-experience.aspx\">Instructions for exemption of the language studies can be found on the Elmo (login required)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Process the student&#8217;s exemption application in Peppi according to the instructions below.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on <strong>eRPL-accreditation<\/strong> menu on the teacher&#8217;s desktop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the application made by the student from the <strong>Actions<\/strong> menu on the right side of the application line. Opening the application<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making a decision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/opinnaytetyo\/en\/maturity-test\/\">Justifications for exemption of the maturity test (Help)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decisions of the application are made from the right side of the <strong>Studies and decisions<\/strong> section of the application window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <strong>Process<\/strong> tab, click the <strong>Go directly to decision-making<\/strong> button. After this, you can record the exemption in the student&#8217;s study attainments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recording the exemption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Check that the information about the exemption is correct in the Add credit transfer window.
