The Excel file must indicate which parts of prior studies are accredited for a degree completed at Jamk and to what extent as well as which courses referred to in the Jamk curriculum will be excluded from the student\u2019s PLP. Accreditation is always done by<strong> inclusion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the recognition of prior learning for language and communication studies as well as thesis must be applied for separately. There are also specific instructions for applying RPL for the practical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/jamkstudent.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Kieli-ja-viestintaopinnot-Elmo\/SitePages\/en\/Recognition-of-prior-learning-and-experience.aspx\">The instructions of language and communication studies<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/jamkstudent.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Kieli-ja-viestintaopinnot-Elmo\/SitePages\/en\/Recognition-of-prior-learning-and-experience.aspx\">(Elmo intra)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/jamkstudent.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Opinnaytetyo-ja-kypsyysnayte-Elmo\/SitePages\/en\/AMK-opinn%C3%A4ytety%C3%B6ryhm%C3%A4t-ja-kokoukset.aspx\">The instructions of thesis (Elmo intra)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi-ohjeet-henkilokunnalle\/en\/erpl-accreditation\/prior-acquired-other-competence-replacement\/\">Recognition of practical training<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The student submits an accreditation application in Peppi. A transcript of records issued by the previous educational institution must be attached to the application in Finnish and English, and it must indicate the completed studies. Also check that the type of the application is inclusion.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The head of the degree programme processes the application in Peppi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You must now mark the application as approved as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, click the <strong>START HERE: Go directly to decision-making<\/strong> button in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select &#8221;Approve completely\u201d as the decision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write a message to the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark the approved ECTS credits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter H in the <strong>Grade<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As the registrar, select the student services person who records larger modules included in your degree programme in Peppi. This way, the application is transferred to student services for recording as such.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish, you can write a message to the registrar, i.e., student services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing the application keywords<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the \u2018Hakemuksen asiasanat\u2018 window, select the keywords that best describe the competence in the application. Note: The window is only in Finnish. You can select more than one keyword. You can also filter the keyword list by first typing your field of study in the \u2018Ohjauksen ala\u2019 field to see only the keywords related to your field. Note: In this case, you cannot find so-called general keywords. Keywords gather applications in an accreditation bank, where you can search for accreditations already made using keywords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u2018<strong>Tallenna asiasanat ja p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6s<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this, student services will record the courses to be included in the student\u2019s study attainments according to the Excel file attached to the application.<\/p>\n\n\n<div id=\"info-lift-block_75b3c4b0c80b1064b43cbf0a0d5d42d3\" class=\"block-info-lift block-info-lift\">\n  <div class=\"row\">\n    <div class=\"col-12\">\n              <div class=\"block-info-lift__content\">\n          <div class=\"block-info-lift__content__icon\">\n            <span>!<\/span>\n          <\/div>\n          <p class=\"block-info-lift__content__text\">If the application has been filled in incorrectly or the attached Excel file is incomplete, student services will return the application to the head of the degree programme. The head of the degree programme can attach the correct file to the application from the Attach files section.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Processing of the application in student services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The head of the degree programme has marked the application as approved and sent it to student services for recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If the application has been filled in incorrectly or the attached Excel file is incomplete, student services may return the application to the head of the degree programme.
