In this case, a note is left in Peppi that the student has registered for the course. This is specified in the degree regulations: https:\/\/www.jamk.fi\/fi\/opiskelijalle\/tutkinto-opiskelija\/saannot-ja-priyaattet 19 \u00a7 Registration for course implementations and completion of studies <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE! However, this does not apply to students registered for open nonstop courses, who can start studying at their own pace during the academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recording of achievements <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A student starts completing the course, but does not complete it or its partial achievements with a pass, the overall performance is recorded as <strong>failed (0).<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student receives approved partial assignments, and an assessment is recorded for them: \u2022 Approved parts of the implementation are assessed normally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 The remaining parts of the implementation that have not been completed approved receive a <strong>failed (0) <\/strong>grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 The overall performance is recorded as<strong> failed (0)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Later approved assignments<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student completes approved assignments for the implementation in question within the agreed time, and they can be recorded either: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 as a retake<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 as an assessment recording <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student&#8217;s most important rules and principles, including the degree regulations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cancellation of registration during the registration period The student cancels their registration for the course within the registration period, the procedure is as previously agreed on the open university side.
