An application for pre-accreditation is only made if the studies carried out elsewhere are intended to replace the mandatory courses of your degree or if you intend to complete studies other than higher education (e.g. Gradia studies).<\/p>\n<p>Make the application for pre-accreditation as early as possible so that the teacher has time to accept the application before the study enrolment period ends.<\/p>\n\n      <\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to study at another higher education institution as \u201ccross-institutional studies\u201d or upper secondary education, e.g. at Gradia during your studies, read the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/peppi\/en\/cross-institutional-studies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">instructions for cross-institutional studies (Help)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, have a guidance discussion with your career tutor. Then fill out an application for pre-accreditation in Peppi to apply for the accreditation of the courses you intend to complete at another higher education institution in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make a separate application for pre-accreditation for each individual course.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guidance discussion details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Always fill out the application as accurately as possible so that the teacher does not have to send your application back for supplementation. For example, find the code and outcomes of the course on the other higher education institution\u2019s website and add them to the application.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Students\u2019 Desktop, go to the eRPL Accreditation page and select<strong> New application for pre-accreditation<\/strong> at the top of the page on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fill in the <strong>guidance discussion<\/strong> details (Figure 1):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is recommended that the first page of the application is completed during the guidance discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the date field, enter <strong>the date<\/strong> on which you had the guidance discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the drop-down menu, select<strong> the teacher <\/strong>with whom you had the discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Additional information field<\/strong>, enter the content of the discussion and what was agreed upon. Guidance discussion details<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Place of performance details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start filling in the application from the section <strong>Places of performance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Add place of performance<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Places of completion window, you should tell us where you intend to complete the studies you want to have accredited. Select Educational institution as the <strong>type<\/strong> (Figure 2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the type of institution where you will complete your studies as the <strong>Place of performance type<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Usually, you would select either universities of applied sciences or universities here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the higher education institution where you will complete your studies as the <strong>Place of performance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Name of the study<\/strong> field, enter the name of the course you intend to complete at the higher education institution in question. Note: Enter the name as it appears on the higher education institution\u2019s website. Place of performance information<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding studies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a course to be completed elsewhere from the <strong>Add study to be completed<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select <strong>replacement<\/strong> as the <strong>type of accreditation<\/strong> in the application, as you apply for accreditation for <strong>compulsory studies<\/strong> in your degree (Figure 3). You can apply for replacement with individual studies or study modules of less than 30 credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the person responsible for the course as the <strong>handler<\/strong> of the application. Do not use the Add study module button in any case!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the <strong>code<\/strong> (ID) of the course. After this, you will no longer be able to edit your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive email about the different stages of processing your application. You can also follow the progress of the application in Peppi. You can see your application in the eRPL Accreditation view. You can also view your application by clicking the Actions button on the application line and selecting Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Converting your application into an accreditation application<\/h2>\n\n\n  <div id=\"notice-box-block_17f141d14431439b41f545e637a58406\" class=\"block-notice-box block-notice-box\">\n    \n    <p>Do not change the application for pre-accreditation to an accreditation application if you have enrolled for another organization&#8217;s studies through your own Peppi. Credits are automatically transferred from the Peppi of another university to your own transcript of records.<\/p>\n\n      <\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In other cases, when you have completed your studies, you should convert the application for pre-accreditation into an accreditation application. Do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Students\u2019 Desktop, go to the<strong> applications for pre-accreditation<\/strong> tab on the eRPL Accreditation page.
