Parts of the Thesis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Structure of the thesis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s theses usually have the following three parts: <strong>the first part<\/strong> introduces the topic, <strong>the body<\/strong> contains a description of the implementation of the research, and <strong>the last part<\/strong> lists the information connected with the work. The following is thus a typical thesis construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first part contains\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the cover page,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the description page,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the description page in the requested foreign language, if applicable (see <a href=\"https:\/\/help.jamk.fi\/raportointiohje\/en\/4-parts-of-the-thesis\/4-1-the-first-part-of-the-thesis\/4-1-2-description-page\/\" target=\"blank\">Description Page<\/a>),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the table of contents,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the list of figures, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the list of tables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The body\u2019s contents vary depending on the type of report (research or development project).
