Box 207<br>\nFI-40101 Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Finland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3\nContact person in matters concerning the register, contact information during\noffice hours <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Director in charge of the register: Director of Administration <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main users in content: Safety Coordinator, System Specialist<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>firstname.surename[a]jamk.fi <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4\nPurpose of the processing of personal data <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the recording\ncamera surveillance system is to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensuring personal safety of\npersons staying on the library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protection of property<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prevention or investigation of\nsituations that compromise security and property<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5\nData contents of the register <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The register contains the\npersonal data of the registered customer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Camera surveillance\u2019s recording<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recording place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recording time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6 Legal bases for processing personal data <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A task carried out in the public interest or the exercise of public authority (security, crime prevention)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7 Regular information sources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Camera\nsurveillance describes and stores a moving image of specific areas and people\nmoving there in real time. The cameras are placed in pre-designed locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8 Regular information disclose and information transfer outside the EU or the European Economic Area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside the general opening hours, security is provided by an external security service (<em>Laki yksityisist\u00e4 turvallisuuspalveluista 1085\/2015<\/em>).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitor information and camera surveillance image can be submitted to Jamk&#8217;s internal security oversight or to the police as pre-trial material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Data is not\ntransmitted outside the EU or EEA, or international organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9 Register protection principles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All cameras\nand recorders are in a locked location and access is monitored and are only\nallowed for specified persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10 Retention period or criteria for determining<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The data in the register will be kept for as long as they are necessary for the purpose of camera surveillance, but not exceeding one (1) month. For a reason, recordings can be stored for longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11 Automatic decision-making\/profiling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Automated\nprofiling related to personal data is not conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12 Rights of the Data Subject <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recording camera surveillance is part of personal and area safety. Documents relating to or affecting the realisation of the security arrangements of persons, buildings, installations, constructions, and data and communications systems shall be confidential.<em> (Act on the Openness of Government Activities 621\/1999 24.1\u00a77<\/em>). The information will only be disclosed to the Jamk&#8217;s internal security control if suspected of misuse.
