How to use Tuberooms

1. Turn on the main switch and the lights and instrument.

2. Turn on the computer.

3. Log on to your computer using domain names.

4. Using VMix:

• Wait, see the VMix always opens on the machine.
• Open Default Template: Open -> D Drive -> vmix_settings.vmix.
• The first time you have to set up the recording and remote by default: Settings -> Import -> vmix_config.config.
• Check that the sound is heard = the green bar is moving.
• Views: preview (orange) at close-up, recording (green) at right.
• Start and finish recording using either the remote control or the Record button.

5. You will find the recording on the D drive in the Capture folder.

6. Use headphones for listening or turn on the speakers. If you are using loudspeakers, mute the sound from the mixer while watching. NB! Remember to mute live after watching.

7. Use the Funet Filesender service to upload your video files from your computer’s D drive.

8. Finally, remove any excess videos from D drive.
