Login to email
Below you will find instructions on how to log in to your email inbox. The instructions open by clicking or tapping the title of the instruction.
Go to https://m365.jamk.fi in your web browser and log in with Jamk email address as a username. The Outlook app can be found in the program menu on the left side of the site.
- Staff: firstname.lastname@jamk.fi
- Students: studentnumber@student.jamk.fi
- External users: firstname.lastname@external.jamk.fi

Jamk workstations have Outlook email application pre-installed. You can find Outlook from the Windows Start menu. The first time you start the program, it will ask you to add a new email account. The accounts are as follows:
- Staff: firstname.lastname@jamk.fi
- Students: studentnumber@student.jamk.fi
- External users: firstname.lastname@external.jamk.fi

You can also install the Outlook program on your computer with other Microsoft Office products. Outlook also has its own version for Android and iOS mobile devices. You can download the mobile version from your phone’s app store.

Download and install the Outlook app from your mobile device’s app store. Launch the app and add your Jamk email account to it. The accounts are as follows:
- Staff: firstname.lastname@jamk.fi
- Students: studentnumber@student.jamk.fi
- External users: firstname.lastname@external.jamk.fi

You can also use other common email applications. Check out the app-specific instructions if needed from the app provider’s own support pages. The account type is primarily an m365 email account.
If you need a shared mailbox, you can apply for one through the Halko service. The rights to previously created shared mailboxes are also defined and applied through Halko. You can find detailed instructions in the intranet.
Jamk IDs have strong authentication (MFA) in use, which is intended to protect your account from misuse.
If you have not set up strong authentication for your account, you will receive a message “More information required” when logging in and you will be instructed to enable the verification method for strong authentication. Follow the instructions on the site or see more detailed instructions from the link below if needed.
