Default software on workstations

All Jamk workstations has Microsoft Windows 11 as an operating system and same basic software pre-installed. Besides basic software that comes with the OS, there may also be some other software installed depending of the usage of the workstation.

Software in basic template:

Windows 11 Enterprise 64 bit (operating system)
Microsoft 365 apps fi/en (Office programs, for example text editing and spreadsheets etc.)
Microsoft OneDrive
Windows Defender (Anti-virus software)
Adobe Acrobat Unified (PDF-reader and editing)
Irfanview (picture viewer)
Notepad++ (text editor)
Firefox (internet browser)
Google Chrome (internet browser)
Edge (internet browser)
VLC media player (video player)

More software can be installed from Software Center

Adobe Creative Cloud (used to install other Adobe software)
Windows App (remote desktop connection)
Microsoft Climpchamp and OpenShot Editor (Video Editor tools)
Windows Sandbox (virtual desktop for ex. software testing)
Other specified software for administrator and educational fields are available for via separated service request

Some apps are available from Microsoft Store without administrator privileges
