Electronic services

4 Purpose for processing personal information

Saving, editing and storing customer’s electronic forms as well as saving and storing electronic forms sent by the customer to Jamk University of Applied Sciences.

The electronic services do not require separate registration, but the use of the service requires identification using Jamk’s online identification granted to the user in advance.

5 Register information contents

Electronic forms and information contained in them saved by the customer via the electronic services. The submitted forms with their appendices are stored in Jamk’s case management system according to the storage times specified in the information guidance plan. Processing information of forms in the electronic services are deleted after they are no longer necessary for management and the information has been transferred to the case management system.

The user information coming to the forms come from Jamk’s user directory where they are maintained. Changes of user information are made in the HR information system for the personnel and in the Peppi study information system for the students. Separate privacy statements have been made for the systems in question.

The customer adds electronic forms and information contained in them to the electronic services according to need.

B Information saved in automatic data processing

Information saved in the electronic services is saved on a protected cloud network server with no access to outsiders. Backups of the system are ran daily. The information is not handed over to third parties.

9 Inspection right

Primarily, everyone has the right to inspect information regarding his/her person. The inspection right is free-of-charge no more than once a year (12 months). The inspection request must be made in writing with a signed letter or personally at the controller’s facilities.
