Ask the student to complete the thesis agreement form (and confidentiality form) with all the information, without signing it. The agreement must include the student’s mobile phone number and the commissioner’s mobile phone number. These are needed for submitting a signature request and an identification request. Company numbers starting with 020 or 010 are not valid because they cannot receive text messages. The agreement templates are available in the Thesis Guide.
If a confidentiality agreement is concluded, it must include the confidentiality period (max. 25 years) and the grounds for confidentiality (tick a box).
The student will submit the agreements in question as Word files to Wihi.
Under Basic information, select “Combine documents to a single PDF file upon signing” and “All signers can select their preferred proof of identity.”
Attach the completed thesis agreement under Documents. Attach any confidentiality agreements.
Under Recipients, check the student’s and commissioner’s phone numbers on the agreement form and add them as recipients.
If a confidentiality agreement is included, add your manager (or other head of department with the right to sign) to the cycle.
Under Signature Layout, select “Document Layout” and click “Separate signature page”. This is the easiest and fastest way.
Review the Summary and submit the signature request.
The signature request will be sent to your email address. To sign, click “Open Documents”, log in to Jamk Sign, and then click “Sign”.
Send a Wihi message to the student, notifying them that you have sent a signature request. Instruct the student to print the agreements as a single PDF file after the cycle is finished (see the Thesis Guide) and to submit it to Wihi.
Once the thesis has been finished and evaluated, and the Theseus link to the thesis is in Wihi, archive the agreement in Wihi (Wihi stage 6 Entry of thesis grade into registry).
