Examstudios
Examstudios are video-monitored exam aquariums. There are three Examstudios in Jamk, two of which are located on the main campus and one on the Lutakko campus.
Locations
Main campus
BP16 is located on the ground floor of the B wing. You can easily get to the Examstudio from the A1 door.
GP06 is located in the quiet zone of the library, on the ground floor of the G wing. You can easily get to the Examstudio through the G1 door. NOTE! During self-service hours, you need a valid Jamk library card. If you don’t have a library card, you can conveniently get one in Tuudo. Make sure no later than two weeks before the exam that your library card works and that you do not have, for example, a loan ban at the time of the exam!

Lutakko campus
Turbiini K205 is located in Lutakko on the 2nd floor of the Turbiini building at Piippukatu 3.
Examstudio opening hours and doors
- BP16: Exams are possible at a time chosen by the student, taking into account the opening hours of the main campus.
- GP06: Exams are possible at a time chosen by the student, taking into account the Main Library’s opening hours (customer service and self-service hours).
- Turbiini K205: Exams are possible at a time chosen by the student, taking into account the opening hours of the Turbiini building.
The lock of the Examstudio door opens five minutes before the start of the exam, and closes ten minutes after the start of the exam. For example, if your exam starts at 9:30, you can enter the Examstudio between 9:25 and 9:40. If a previous examinee is still using your designated computer, give him/her a moment to finish up. At other times, Examstudio’s doors are locked. Knocking on the Examstudio door is prohibited, as it disturbs other examinees.
You can exit Examstudio at any time.
Accessibility of Examstudios
BP16: The space has four workstations whose height can be adjusted electronically. In addition, there is barrier-free access to the space when entering from the outer door D1.
GP06: The space has two workstations whose height can be adjusted electronically. There is barrier-free access to the studio from the G1 front door. (The G1 door has two low metal thresholds.)
Turbiini K205: The height can be adjusted electronically at all workstations in the room. There is barrier-free access to the studio from the main door.
