Here´s frequently asked questions about Peppi and notes about bugs that came with Peppi’s update, which will be fixed in the following releases.

Problems with logging in Peppi

• Log in with your Jamk user account in peppi.jamk.fi.
• If your login fails, try to clear the cache memory of the browser.
  • If you have multiple study entitlements, try another user account.
  • If you don’t have access to Students’ Desktop, submit a support ticket https://help.jamk.fi/en/.

My surname in Peppi is wrong. What should I do?

If your surname in Peppi is other than your present surname, submit a support ticket https://help.jamk.fi/en/.

If I want to enrol course implementations do they have to be in my PLP? Must teacher tutor accept my PLP before I can enrol courses?

You can enrol for courses which aren´t in your PLP. Course enrolment doesn’t require approved PLP. Instructions for enrolment is here.

New Features in update

PLP

• PLP Cassifications page calculates credits from classifications correctly and they are shown in the header view.
• PLP Enrollments page has new features:
  • The enrolments section has been divided in three parts.
  • Implementation’s time period has its own column.
  • Column titles have sorting feature.

Bugs in update

PLP

PLP does not automatically transfer into draft mode after acceptance. When the PLP is accepted, it will no longer automatically transfer in to draft mode. The PLP mode must be manually changed to a draft after acceptance. Unless the PLP is in draft mode, it can not be changed. This bug will be corrected in the next version update. If you are unable to modify your PLP, please make sure your PLP version is selected as “DRAFT (is open for editing)”.

Enrolments

Implementation enrolment: the order of enrolment column is not working correctly. The functionality of the column has been changed so that the order is based on database ID not the enrolment date. This will result that the order will be displayed incorrectly. This error will be fixed in the next update.
