Applying for an exemption

At Jamk, you can apply for an exemption for either language studies or the maturity test. See the instructions for exemption from language studies on the Elmo intra (login required). This instruction focuses on applying for an exemption from the maturity test. For other studies, you must apply either for replacement or inclusion.

You can be granted an exemption from the maturity test if you have completed school education in a language other than Finnish or Swedish. Read more on the Degree regulations (For Students pages).
