Here´s frequently asked questions about Peppi and notes about bugs that came with Peppi’s update, which will be fixed in the following releases.

New Features in update
Next update to Peppi is on 23. – 24.2.206
Student’s Desktop
- The PLP view (Personal Learning Plan) on the student desktop has been simplified. The info boxes have been removed from the Inspection and Selecting studies tabs.
- The Group description tab has been removed from the student desktop’s PLP view.
- The text in the course implementation’s ingress field is now visible in the student’s PLP view under the course implementation details.
The “Classifications” tab will be removed from PLP in the upcoming Peppi update
In the Peppi system update, the Classification tab will be removed from the Personal Learning Plan (PLP). Previously, this tab could be used to review the competencies gained through course units.
After the update, you can check the competencies gained in course units directly from the curriculum. In addition, in some degree programmes, the curriculum allows you to see which course units are mandatory and which are elective for you—see instructions in Help. The curricula can be found on Jamk’s website as well as in Peppi under the “Studies” section.

Bugs in update
The student’s preference for the teaching group and the teacher’s placement in the teaching group are shown in their own columns on the registration tab of the PSP. Update doesn´t affect placements made before update.
Problems with logging in Peppi
- Log in with your Jamk user account in peppi.jamk.fi.
- If your login fails, try to clear the cache memory of the browser.
- If you have multiple study entitlements, try another user account.
- If you don’t have access to Students’ Desktop, submit a support ticket https://help.jamk.fi/en/.
My surname in Peppi is wrong. What should I do?
If your surname in Peppi is other than your present surname, submit a support ticket https://help.jamk.fi/en/.
If I want to enrol course implementations do they have to be in my PLP? Must teacher tutor accept my PLP before I can enrol courses?
You can enrol for courses which aren´t in your PLP. Course enrolment doesn’t require approved PLP. Instructions for enrolment is here.
