PLP Setup

The setting up of an PLP is carried out if a student’s existing PLP needs to be cleared because e.g. another study plan would be more consistent with the studies pursued by the student. Setting up the PLP will clear the content of the PLP. The studies completed by the student will remain in the PLP, but if the new PLP does not contain the same studies, they will move to the end of the PLP under the heading ‘Studies outside the PLP’. From there, they must be separately placed in the PLP structure on the Arrangement tab of the PLP.

Approve the existing PLP

Before setting up the PLP, make sure that the PLP that is at the beginning stage is saved by approving the existing PLP. Note: the student will receive a message of the approval, so be sure to write an explanation in the message field to explain why their PLP is approved now. To approve the PLP, switch to the student’s PLP and click Approve PLP.

Select new study plan and set up the PLP

When the existing PLP has been approved, return to the study entitlement PLP menu.

  • Select the study plan identifier that will be used as the basis of the new PLP.
  • Click Save.
  • Click Reset study plan.
  • In the window that appears, you can select the learning path and default syllabus if applicable.
  • The PLP has now been set up.
