Mass editing of study rights

The students’ study right information can be changed for a large group in one go using the ‘Mass edit’ feature. With the ‘Mass edit’ feature, you can change information such as study rights, other study right information, groups and tutors as well as certificate markings and graduation details.

Student search

Conduct a student search in the preferred manner (see Study right search)

From the result list, select the desired students. Click the checkbox in the header row to select all students or, alternatively, select the students one by one by checking the box on each respective student row.

Mass edit

Select Mass edit

In the ‘Mass edit’ menu, you can select the semester the mass edit will pertain to. For example, when enrolling a large group of students as attending at the same time, you can select one semester at the time to which the edits will apply. With the ‘Setup study plans’ option, you can set up an PLP for a large number of students in one go. From the ‘Edit values’ menu, you can set or change the study right information for a large group at the same time. For example, you can set a tutor for all the students in the group in one go.

  • Select Edit values
  • Select the value you want to edit, such as
    • Study right
    • Other information for study right
    • Groups and tutors
    • Certificate markings and graduation
  • Select Replace to replace the previously entered information
  • Select Add to add new information
  • Enter/select the value you want to edit
  • Select Commit changes

Setting up PLPs with mass edit

PLPs can be set up using mass edit. Use the Setup study plans button next to the Edit value button in the mass edit view.

To set up a curriculum as an PLP using mass edit:

  • Run a student search in the preferred manner (see Study right search)
    • For example, you can use the administrative group ID in a study right search
  • Select all the desired students
  • Select Mass edit
  • Select Setup study plans
  • To set up an PLP, you can:
    • Use the curriculum set for the study right
    • Replace the existing PLP potentially set up for the study right
    • Remove the PLP in its entirety so that it will no longer be displayed in the ISP history information
  • Select Setup or Delete

The student must have a curriculum assigned to their study right

If no curriculum has been assigned to the study right, you will need to first add a curriculum for the student using mass edit

  • Run a student search in the preferred manner (see Study right search)
  • Select all the desired students
  • Select Mass edit
  • Select Edit values
  • Under Other information for study right
  • Select Curriculum code for study plan template
  • Tick Set
  • Search for the curriculum
  • Select Setup

If the student has no PLP, they will not be able to enrol for courses.
