Notes about bugs that came with Peppi’s update, which will be fixed in the following releases.

New Features in update

Educational Planning

Support for curriculum development in time-based education, including curricula, courses, course implementations, and targets of enrollment.

Cross-institutional studying

Development of data transfer between Sisu and Peppi, including displaying assessment items and completion methods in Peppi linked to the correct course implementations.

Corrections to the cross-institutional study service.

Enrollments

The student’s preference for the teaching group and the teacher’s placement in the teaching group are shown in their own columns on the registration tab of the PSP. In addition, the student’s wishes can be distinguished correctly even after the teacher has placed the enrollments. In enrollment tab the student can see the small group in which they have been placed, even if it differs from their wishes.

PLP

The listing on the Enrollments tab has been divided into sections for a clearer view, and a sort function has been added to the column headings.

The ability to select which columns are visible on the Enrollments tab has been added to the view of staff desktops.

The status of studies is displayed in the Enrollments sections in the same way as on the Inspection tab of the PLP. Statuses related to cross-institutional studies have also been taken into account.

Assessment

Pagination functionality has been added to the implementation assessment view for implementations with large amount of students. The user can adjust the page size (50, 100, 200 or 500 students per page) and switch to different pages.

Automatic messages for implementation

Teacher can create automatic message for the implementation. The teacher can choose whether the email is sent immediately when the student enrolls for the implementation and/or after the enrollment is approved. Messages are primarily sent to Jamk’s email address and, if this is not available, to the student’s personal email.

The message must be added before the start of the implementation enrollment period. The message can no longer be edited after the start of the implementation enrollment period. It is not possible to add attachments to the message, but it is possible to add hyperlinks. Instructions to create automatic messages.

eRPL

No new features in version 5.6.1.
Fixes have been made, including to Emrex.

Paid education

Bug fixes:

The waiting list procedure incorrectly moved reservations to the status “Waiting for Acceptance of Study Place” → fixed.
Fixes to study voucher payments, payment method selections on the applicant’s dashboard, and Paytrail reservation payment confirmations.
Applicants could receive a study place without payment if they were promoted from the waiting list before completing enrolment → fixed.

Resource reservations

On Free / busy search Action button is fixed to work normally
When making a repeating reservation starting time cannot be later than ending time
