Student administration

Student administration is found under the ‘Students’ menu and can be used to search for a student’s personal information, study right information and study attainments. Various kinds of reports related to students can also be printed out via Student administration.

Study right search

You can use the study right search to search for one or several students based on your chosen search criteria. The available search tools include the quick search, basic search and advanced search. Searches can also be saved. Study right search allows the use of * as a wildcard. In the surname field, for example, Aalto* will return all names starting with Aalto (Aalto, Aaltonen, Aaltojärvi, Meri-Aalto,…).

Viewing and editing personal information

To view and edit personal information, search for a student and then open that student’s information. You can edit the student personal information, contact information, data release permissions and information about next of kin, and add other additional information for the student.
Here, you can also add a study right for the student manually or by using a study right template. Study right templates are maintained by Peppi administrators.

Viewing and editing study right information

Use the study right search to search for the student’s information and view their study rights. The information of different study rights can be viewed and edited from the student’s page. Examples of study right information include study information, attendance information, additional study right information, etc.

Reports and printouts

Peppi has a number of reports available related to study rights and persons that can be used via study right search, for example. The UAS can edit the reports in the system and create new reports using the report service available on the Administrator’s Desktop.
