Checklist for teachers
Teacher, check and, if necessary, correct at least these when approving students’ applications for accreditation in eRPL.
Information entered by the student
- the student has submitted the right type of application (study, competence, exemption)
- the type of accreditation is selected correctly (replacement, inclusion)
In the case of study
- the original name of the study in Finnish and English corresponds to the name of the attainment in the student’s transcript of records.
- the Finnish and English names of the course are in the correct fields.
- the credits of the original attainment corresponds to the credits recorded in the student’s transcript of records.
- the date of original study attainment corresponds to the date in the student’s transcript of records.
- the original grade corresponds to the grade in the student’s transcript of records.
- the student has attached a transcript of records to the application. A link to the My studyinfo service is not enough!
In the case of competence
- in case of competence, the name of the study in Finnish and English is descriptive but short. It will be shown in the student’s transcript of records.
- in case of competence, the student may not have been able to fill in the credits and grade of the attainment.
- the student has added a description of competence and an attachment, such as a work certificate to the application.
Information entered by you
- the credits field has the approved amount of credits.
- the assessment corresponds to the evaluation in the transcript of records; competence should be marked “H”.
- the date of accreditation is the date on which the application is processed.
