Notes about bugs that came with Peppi’s update, which will be fixed in the following releases.

In addition, new features that came with the update are listed here.

New Features in update

Curricula planning search feature

You can search for courses using the Tags search criteria. This way you can search for e.g. all the courses that are marked “Avoin AMK”, i.e. courses that are offered for the open studies. Tags are: Open AMK, CampusOnline, EduFutura and ExchangeStudent. More information on search feature can be found here.

Enrollments

If the implementation has small groups, the student must also enrol in a small group too. Students must be accepted into small groups. More information on the processing of small group registrations can be found here.

PLP

The listing on the Enrollments tab has been divided into sections for a clearer view, and a sort function has been added to the column headings.

The ability to select which columns are visible on the Enrollments tab has been added to the view of staff desktops.

The status of studies is displayed in the Enrollments sections in the same way as on the Inspection tab of the PLP. Statuses related to cross-institutional studies have also been taken into account.

Assessment

Pagination functionality has been added to the implementation assessment view for implementations with large amount of students. The user can adjust the page size (50, 100, 200 or 500 students per page) and switch to different pages.

Automatic messages for implementation

Teacher can create automatic message for the implementation. The teacher can choose whether the email is sent immediately when the student enrolls for the implementation and/or after the enrollment is approved. Messages are primarily sent to Jamk’s email address and, if this is not available, to the student’s personal email.

The message must be added before the start of the implementation enrollment period. The message can no longer be edited after the start of the implementation enrollment period. It is not possible to add attachments to the message, but it is possible to add hyperlinks. Instructions to create automatic messages.

Bugs in update

PLP

Finalizing the PLP approval. When the PLP is approved, it no longer automatically opens the new PLP in draft mode. After approving you must manually change the PLP version to the draft mode to be able to edit it. This will be fixed in the next update. If you are unable to edit the PLP, you should check that you are working with the PLP in draft mode.

Resource reservation

In Free period search, the Action button opens when you click the button next to the gear icon. Learn more about calendar settings here.

By default, the reservation listing and mass management shows only the first 10 search results, although there are more results. The quantity of the selection can be changed from the drop-down list, so you can change all the reservations at once, if there are more than 10. System error flashes in AHOT

When the accreditation application handler is entering the study attainment to the student’s transcript and clicks Save in the last window, AHOT issues a system error. However, the study attainment goes to the transcript, so the error is unwarranted.
