Filling in the information required for implementation
The implementation should have the following information filled to be linked to the target of enrolment and to publish the target:
- Responsible unit and cost center(s)
- Capacity (min-max) i.e. number of students for basic information
- Quota groups for paid education
Additionally, the following information should be added to the implementation:
- Educational field
- Only one teaching language
- Timing information
The implementation should be public in order for the target of enrolment to be published. The implementation can also be linked to the target of enrolment in draft status (route studies).
Setting default quota groups for implementation
In the implementation, you can find the Quota groups tab. On the tab, you can plan which quota group places you want for the implementation (Figure 1). This is planning phase information, and setting the places does not yet bind anything. The places are reserved for targets of enrolment when the target is created, the implementation is linked to it, and the quota is set for the target. See the instructions for setting the quota group for the target of enrolment.
You can set one or more default quota groups. Quota groups for paid education automatically reduce the capacity for degree students relative to the minimum-maximum capacity set for the implementation (Figure 2). Note: The minimum value has no technical significance.
Below is a view where targets of enrolment are locked into the implementation’s quota groups, meaning the implementation is linked to targets of enrolment, and quota groups are defined for it. Note: The numbers under the ‘Seats used for targets of enrolment’ indicate how many quota places the targets take from the default quota group set for the implementation.
For example, the number 5/10 for an Open university course indicates that the target of enrolment (AAA002 Test Paid Course) has 5 places set for the quota group out of the 10 places for the implementation. The number does not indicate the number of people enrolled for the targets.
